Wishing to be in Africa? Singita Grumeti Reserve in Tanzania has put together a game drive video for all of us on lockdown.
The Grumeti Reserve, on the Western edge of the Serengeti Natioanal Park, used to be heavily poached. Years of investment and antipoaching patrols have paid off and the area now offers stunning game viewing.
My favorite of the 4 lodges / camps in the reserve is Faru Faru... I also love the hilltop views across Africa from the Manor House at Sasakwa.
Best lunch in Africa - sitting poolside at Faru Faru! Unforgettable!
Time for an armchair safari! Great little video from Governors's Camp in Kenya's Masai Mara.
This is one of our favorite wildlife viewing locations in Africa. Governor's gained recent fame on the BBC as the location where Big Cat Diary is filmed. Set within the Mara itself Governor’s is tucked into a forest overlooking the plains. With a great number of resident animals it offers terrific year round wildlife viewing in addition to the wildebeest migration during the months July through October. Activities include day time wildlife viewing drives in open sided 4×4 vehicles. Hot air ballooning is an option as well.
